Tour Guide, German and French Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as the PURAVENTURA host, providing daily guidance, interpretation, and management for a group of senior travelers (small size 06-12 individuals) during a 02-03 week journey across the country.

• Offer leadership to our travelers while ensuring their well-being, safety, and the smooth operation of the tour.

• Adhere to the established travel itinerary as closely as possible, making adjustments only when necessary.

• Maintain composure in stressful situations, follow protocols in special circumstances, and offer flexible solutions independently.

• Ensure that the services provided by our partners align with our quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Monitor daily expenditures, retain receipts, and manage expenses within the designated trip budget.

• Treat clients as friends, striving to make their trip the most enjoyable experience possible.

• Enjoy sharing experiences with individuals from French-speaking countries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the French language (C2 level) for effective communication with clients, in addition to fluency in Spanish.

• Possess all necessary permissions to work and guide in Mexico.

• Hold a First Aid Certification, including CPR and the Heimlich maneuver.

• Have extensive knowledge (and an ongoing desire to expand it) of Mexico as a travel destination, coupled with a passion for showcasing it.

• Demonstrate an interest in sustainable, local, and authentic travel experiences.

• Be engaging, dependable, and well-organized.

• Maintain good health, high energy levels, and a positive attitude.

• Have practical experience with the internet, emails, and Google platforms, along with a smartphone capable of running Android 14 or higher, or iOS 13 or higher.
