
TMT Insights Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with the Global Practice Leader and Practice Director to establish priorities for primary and secondary research and analysis across markets, clients, competitors, talent, and outcomes.
• Work alongside other Insights Directors to exchange and implement best practices and insights throughout the organization.
• Partner with Marketing to create Practice-focused intellectual capital, which includes market analyses and thought leadership initiatives.
• Generate research and analysis to guide the Practice’s competitive positioning, identify growth opportunities, and explore areas of potential.
• Recognize and convey significant talent and leadership trends pertinent to the Practice.
• Collaborate closely with Practice Consultants and Client Development to integrate insights, data, and analysis into proposals and pursuit strategies.
• Assist in client prioritization and coverage efforts by basing decisions on market, leadership, and competitive insights.
• Keep track of relevant news and emerging topics associated with key clients and opportunities, sharing timely insights with the Practice.
• Work together with the Client Development Manager to ensure that business development signals are consistently captured and communicated.
• Facilitate the adoption of new tools and technologies that improve insight generation and business development effectiveness.
• Act as a key resource on sector dynamics, major players, functions, and terminology.
• Actively engage in global business development initiatives by sharing insights and best practices across various Practices.
• Collaborate with the Practice Director, Client Development Manager, and Marketing to define and implement an effective insights communication strategy.
• Aid in the development, coaching, and retention of the TMT Client Development team.
• Advocate for business development and insights initiatives throughout the Practice and the organization.
• Over 10 years of experience in consulting, professional services, market research (both quantitative and qualitative), and/or executive search.
• Experience in managing business development content creation activities and processes.
• Proven track record in overseeing operational activities and processes.
• A bachelor’s degree is required (a master’s degree would be advantageous).
• Familiarity with some of our key TMT sectors is a plus.
