This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Analyze and interpret real estate documents including deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, assignments, releases/reconveyances, and legal descriptions.
• Review and generate title commitments.
• Assess search products to determine insurability.
• Decide on the inclusion of general index items as evidence of title.
• Independently evaluate uninsured property reports, full-service HELOCs, Title Genius, and Purchase transactions.
• Provide assistance with title curative matters.
• Support the training of new team members.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned or as necessary.
• A minimum of three years of experience in title examination or underwriting.
• Experience with multi-state underwriting guidelines is preferred.
• Familiarity with ALTA best practices is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Knowledge of client-based systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A motivated and positive team player.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems in a dynamic and expanding business environment.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
