Tier 2 SOC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as an active member of a client’s Security Operations team.

• Revamp the client’s detection strategy and streamline detection processes.

• Adjust rules and uphold cross-functional feedback mechanisms.

• Oversee analysis, design, and hands-on evaluation and remediation for Attack Surface Reduction initiatives.

• Contribute to the client’s proprietary “Signal to Noise ratio” detection metric.

• Execute attack surface reduction, including comprehensive change management.

• Deliver vulnerability prioritization and analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Security Operations or a similar field.

• Proficient with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.

• Experience in mapping detections to established frameworks and risk mitigation models.

• Knowledge of the latest trends in attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
