Student Worker, Information Security – Incident Response

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with various initiatives such as security operations, incident response, threat intelligence, and threat hunting.

• Play a role in developing incident response playbooks, checklists, and standard operating procedures.

• Detect weaknesses in security controls and propose remediation or mitigation strategies.

• Evaluate security events utilizing security and analysis tools.

• Collect evidence, document findings, and aid in reconstructing timelines of attacks.

• Work collaboratively with Information Security, Global Information Technology, and other departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally, have completed at least the sophomore year of study.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computing & Information Science, Information Studies, or a related discipline.

• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.

• Familiarity with one or more areas such as security operations, incident response, threat hunting, and threat intelligence.

• Proficient in PowerShell or Python scripting.

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Power Automate.

• Outstanding teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing in English is essential.
