Threat Vulnerability AI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct external and internal vulnerability assessments and application/software scans; analyze, deduplicate, and publish prioritized remediation backlogs.

• Correlate findings with threat intelligence, KEV/exploit data, and asset criticality; monitor SLAs and risk mitigation.

• Collaborate with Infra, Identity, and Application teams to implement fixes; validate remediation efforts, gather evidence, and report on closure.

• Assist with formal penetration testing and external posture monitoring (e.g., BitSight); manage findings until resolution.

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven workflows (Claude and/or ChatGPT) that automate repetitive tasks across security operations, identity, GRC, and reporting, as prioritized by the Sr. Director.

• Convert leadership priorities into automation solutions: report generation, evidence gathering, alert summarization, audit preparation, vulnerability triage drafting, and ticket workflow support.

• Ensure human-in-the-loop governance and maintain audit trails for all AI outputs; document prompts, approvals, and edge cases.

• Regularly assess the effectiveness of AI tools; report on time saved, accuracy, and adoption across the department.

• Engage in an on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or security operations; familiarity with enterprise scanners and CVSS/KEV workflows.

• Proficiency in AI technologies.

• Practical experience utilizing Claude and/or ChatGPT to automate security or IT tasks; effective prompt creation, structured outputs, and human-in-the-loop controls.

• Skills in scripting and automation; comfortable working with REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns across SaaS tools.

• Strong judgment in determining when human oversight is necessary versus when automation can be safely executed; excellent documentation and stakeholder coordination abilities.
