Senior Director Analyst – Application Security and Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate innovative, thought-provoking, and highly impactful “must-have insights” content.

• Cultivate new insights and concepts through thought leadership, providing compelling and actionable strategies to address clients' needs and requests.

• Conduct comprehensive analyses to uncover the root causes of a client’s challenges or overall requirements.

• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insights positions within a team of analysts.

• Research, analyze, and forecast market trends and shifts to equip clients and vendors with actionable insights.

• Create and present high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, professional association gatherings, and client briefings, both on and off stage.

• Offer sales support by acting as the voice of the market, assisting Insights teams in content creation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience in application security, enterprise applications, or IT leadership.

• Extensive expertise in collaborating with CIOs (or ‘Heads of IT’) and business leaders to develop application security strategies that deliver business value.

• Strong familiarity with the creation of Enterprise Application Security Roadmaps and Performance Metrics is preferred.

• Ability to articulate how application security technology contributes to delivering business value.

• Experience in organizing and leading application security teams.

• Stay ahead of developments and issues within these specific areas, as well as related fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI.

• Excellent organizational skills; capability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical abilities, and presentation skills; adept at engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.

• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis.
