Junior Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with system owners to prioritize and manage the resolution of security vulnerabilities.

• Monitor remediation efforts, confirm completed fixes, and track progress against set deadlines.

• Ensure stakeholders are held accountable for their remediation obligations.

• Create and sustain security reports, dashboards, and automation tools.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance security documentation.

• Support technical teams in comprehending and following security protocols.

• Offer timely and precise advice to stakeholders concerning security governance.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance vulnerability detection capabilities.

• Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

• Proficient in advanced English.

• Experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or cybersecurity governance processes.

• Understanding of vulnerability remediation workflows and risk management methodologies.

• Proven experience in tracking remediation efforts and managing competing priorities among various stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Background in creating and maintaining technical documentation.

• Awareness of security compliance requirements.

• Knowledge of cloud security environments and contemporary infrastructure technologies.

• Familiarity with vulnerability management platforms and security scanning tools is a plus.
