Threat Researcher I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Remain updated on emerging technologies, trends, and threat landscapes within the realms of cybersecurity and AI.

• Detect and analyze blind spots and vulnerabilities in our AI-driven detection systems to enhance their robustness and precision.

• Create and develop Proof of Concept (PoC) projects based on thorough and in-depth research within the cybersecurity field.

• Work collaboratively across engineering and product teams to convert research insights into actionable and scalable security solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts, methodologies, and their practical applications.

• Proficient in programming, with advanced skills in Python and familiarity with other pertinent languages and frameworks.

• Excellent communication abilities, capable of clearly presenting complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through written reports, presentations, and collaborative discussions.

• Proven track record of achieving results, demonstrated by published work, shareable projects, or measurable outcomes in relevant research or professional environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of Malware Analysis principles and extensive knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including attack vectors and defense mechanisms.

• Keen awareness of current and emerging threats posed by the integration of AI systems, along with the capacity to apply practical, hands-on security research experience to mitigate them.

• A genuine enthusiasm for working at the cutting edge of AI and cybersecurity, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and innovation in a rapidly changing field.

• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, boost efficiency, and drive business results.

• Solid understanding of static/dynamic analysis tools such as IDA, x64dbg, and radare2.

• Programming experience in Python.

• Experience in reverse engineering is an advantage.

• Currently a student in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
