This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Operate remotely in support of a government contract for a client based in Washington, DC.
• Deliver capabilities in threat hunting.
• Collaborate with various teams to strengthen the security posture.
• Possession of an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent, with an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data hunting, manipulation, and presentation.
• Proficiency in generating queries and reports.
• Capability to interpret and integrate data from diverse tool sources.
• Expertise in conducting queries and developing algorithms for data structure analysis.
• Experience in complex malware analysis.
• Proficiency in recognizing common encoding techniques (e.g., Exclusive Disjunction [XOR], American Standard Code for Information Interchange [ASCII], Unicode, Base64, Uuencode, Uniform Resource Locator [URL] encode).
• Ability to write scripts in R, Python, PIG, HIVE, SQL, etc.
• Possession of one of the following certifications: CISSP (associate), CCSP, SSCP, along with any certification from the CSSP Analyst, Infrastructure Support, or Incident Response categories.
