Thermographer – Infrared Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct infrared thermographic inspections of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and roofing at commercial and industrial locations.

• Evaluate thermal images to detect anomalies or potential failures.

• Generate comprehensive inspection reports using company templates, accurately documenting findings and recommendations for corrective measures.

• Serve as the primary customer liaison, representing the company professionally on-site.

• Effectively communicate with internal teams and client personnel to ensure the clarity and accuracy of inspection outcomes.

• Complete administrative tasks promptly, including time tracking, expense reporting, and making travel arrangements.

• May assist with building energy audits and help catalog customers' electrical and mechanical assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental electrical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude.

• Thermography certification and experience working as an infrared thermographer.

• Exceptional communication skills with individuals at all levels, including maintenance personnel, facility managers, and engineers.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational abilities, time management, and attention to detail.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (including air travel); a valid driver's license is required.

• Must reside within one hour of a major airport for efficient travel to customer locations.
