Therapy Access Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated accounts within a specific region or territory to facilitate access for both providers and patients.

• Educate healthcare providers and office personnel on access services and reimbursement options tailored to United Therapeutics' offerings.

• Implement a strategic plan for the region or territory in collaboration with internal and external partners.

• Act as the payer expert for a specific area and relay changes from payers to key stakeholders promptly.

• Ensure comprehensive understanding of the reimbursement process, specialty pharmacies, field reimbursement services, and UT's patient support program.

• Provide guidance on patient-level reimbursement concerns while adhering to established policies and clear Rules of Engagement.

• Oversee daily operations that facilitate appropriate patient access to United Therapeutics’ products within provider offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with over 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with more than 6 years of relevant experience, or a PhD/PharmD with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Market Access and/or Field Reimbursement supporting specialty products.

• Familiarity with specialty/biologic products and/or intricate reimbursement processes.

• Experience in educating healthcare providers about client-specific patient service programs (e.g., copay assistance, nurse education, patient support, etc.).

• Capacity to navigate ambiguity and resolve issues effectively.

• Solution-focused mindset, strong business acumen, and robust analytical skills.

• Willingness to manage travel requirements exceeding 50%.
