Clinical Supervisor – Couples Therapy Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead a monthly consultation group focused on couples for clinicians.

• Deliver individual supervision to associate clinicians in line with California licensing standards.

• Offer couples-focused consultation to licensed clinicians.

• Provide additional group supervision support for associate clinicians.

• Offer crisis intervention and risk-management consultation as clinically necessary.

• Mentor and provide guidance on clinical care, ethics, professional growth, and standards of practice.

• Engage in supervisor consultations and collaborate with clinical leadership and other supervisors.

• Integrate cultural humility, equity, inclusion, and anti-oppressive practices into supervision and consultation.

• Complete administrative responsibilities related to supervision and consultation services, including necessary documentation and communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active California license as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist in good standing.

• Fulfill California requirements to offer clinical supervision to associate clinicians.

• Have advanced training and experience in couples therapy.

• Preferably possess experience in clinical supervision or consultation.

• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, including handling complex cases, ethics, and risk assessment.

• Be collaborative, approachable, and dedicated to ethical, inclusive, and culturally responsive care.

• Align with The Connective’s relational, whole-person wellness approach.

• Required to submit responses to the supplemental questions.

• Finalists will need to conduct a brief couples consultation session during the interviewing process.
