This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Achieving and surpassing sales targets within a designated territory by creating, implementing, and executing a comprehensive territory business plan that focuses on key customer segments.
• Demonstrating expertise in scientific and clinical information pertaining to Acoramidis.
• Employing a customer-centric approach to engage clients in clinically relevant discussions using approved materials.
• Analyzing sales data effectively to uncover opportunities for business growth and identify areas of concern within the territory.
• Responsible for formulating territory business plans and executing essential company initiatives.
• Complying with company guidelines while embodying honesty, integrity, trust, respect, and accountability, and performing all duties in alignment with company policies and relevant state and federal regulations.
• Collaborating in a compliant manner with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB, and other key cross-functional team members to devise strategies that ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
• Creating and executing a dynamic territory business plan by assessing the business landscape, competitive environment, and market conditions to propel business growth. Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with targeted KOLs, including physicians, medical personnel, and key hospital staff, as well as multi-disciplinary center teams.
• Navigating the hospital formulary process and developing strategies to ensure successful product positioning and accessibility.
• Anticipating potential business challenges, adjusting priorities as necessary, exhibiting flexibility, and formulating solutions to tackle such challenges.
• Maintaining exceptional proficiency in selling skills, clinical knowledge, market awareness, and the business environment of the territory.
• Collaborating with peers and company personnel to achieve corporate objectives and initiatives.
• Effectively organizing and planning schedules to maximize efficiency and time use to meet goals and objectives.
• Acting as a representative of the company, presenting a professional image, and embodying integrity and respect for the company, its products, and its people.
• Completing tasks and projects assigned by Sales Leadership.
• Ensuring that all activities adhere to applicable regulations, compliance, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Over 8 years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in Rare Disease/Cardiology/Specialty/ATTR.
• A BS/BA degree is required; an MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in product/indication launches: Proven track record of launching new products and/or indications in highly competitive markets.
• Strong leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute plans effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a history of accountability.
• Capability to influence others without authority, both internally and externally.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing remote technology to engage with customers.
