Test Scripts Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Responsibilities involve evaluating business requirements for their testability and completeness, utilizing Functional Specification Documents, Business Requirements Documents, and Technical Design Documents.

• Transforming requirements into test conditions, cases, and scripts.

• Creating and executing automated scripts through HP Quality Center to thoroughly assess software functionality and ensure it operates correctly and is free from defects.

• This role is accountable for reviewing test cases and other testing artifacts to verify the accuracy and completeness of all testing documentation.

• This position facilitates testing, documenting, and tracking testing issues by providing reproducible test cases.

• Collaborates with other product team members to diagnose and replicate issues, as well as to prioritize and implement solutions, ultimately closing problem reports.

• Responsible for collecting and analyzing test scripting data in accordance with the project plan schedule, ensuring compliance with standard practices and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in utilizing HP test tools, including Test Director/Quality Center 9.0 or higher and Quick Test Professional (QTP) 9.5 or higher.

• Experience in testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.

• Familiarity with requirements analysis and the development of automated test cases/scripts.

• Experience in manual or automated testing, using testing tools, crafting test plans, and reviewing test cases.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills for daily interactions with system developers, business analysts, and others.

• Capability to prioritize tasks within the project and work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.

• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

• Stable employment history.

• Experience testing Curam products.

• Background in testing for health and human services projects.

• Proficient in executing SQL for validation or testing purposes.

• Experience navigating a UNIX platform.

• Skilled in developing and executing Selenium automation test scripts.
