Test-Prep Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide engaging and personalized virtual instruction customized to each student's target score, current performance level, and specific strengths and weaknesses in test-taking.

• Develop organized lesson plans and timeline strategies that correspond with upcoming exam schedules and the individual pacing requirements of students.

• Adjust instruction dynamically based on student inquiries and areas of conceptual difficulty.

• Monitor student progress using diagnostic metrics and maintain effective communication with families regarding improvements in scores.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Experience in working with students who have special educational needs.

• Capability to create and implement lesson plans that are aligned with student objectives and necessary accommodations.

• Excellent virtual instruction abilities — proficiency with video conferencing tools, digital whiteboards, and maintaining student engagement in an online setting.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Must have access to a reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and a quiet workspace.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus.
