Test Manager, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• You will create comprehensive test strategies for our clients, particularly in the context of transformation projects and migrations.

• You will design testing concepts and take charge of planning tests as well as managing test data.

• You will develop test cases, including documentation and reporting, and participate actively during the testing phase.

• You will define work packages and coordinate (sub-)projects, ensuring their implementation up to business acceptance (sign-off).

• You will serve as an “innovator” in test automation and continuously enhance our test management tools.

• You will lead the initiatives related to test management and automation at Wavestone, further developing our colleagues and clients through test management training.

• You will collaborate with IT and business colleagues to devise solutions for specific challenges, sometimes utilizing existing solutions and systems.

• You will cultivate professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure effective delivery of proposed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in business informatics or a related field.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in test management, with a strong emphasis on program-level or large-scale project delivery.

• Deep understanding of test management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., TPI Next, TMMi) along with their practical application.

• Experience with modern test automation tools, such as Tosca, and integrating testing into CI/CD and DevOps environments.

• Proficiency in coordinating multiple testers and/or test managers across programs or complex projects.

• Familiarity with project management frameworks and delivery methods.

• A solid grasp of financial services processes and quality assurance best practices.

• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and managing both conceptual and coordination tasks.

• Interest or initial experience in emerging topics, such as quality intelligence tools and AI-driven testing methods, and their application in enhancing test efficiency and insights.

• ISTQB certification is a plus.

• Demonstrated strong customer orientation for both internal and external stakeholders, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

• A keen interest in AI-driven tools and the ability to incorporate them into daily tasks.

• Proficiency in business German and a good command of English.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients.
