Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Oversee, allocate, and track tasks within the QA team across various projects.

• Create and implement test plans and strategies specific to each project.

• Assist the team in designing and updating test matrices.

• Ensure comprehensive execution of test cases.

• Offer technical support for testing utilizing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, jMeter, Selenium, and others.

• Identify risks and aid in avoiding delays or deviations in scope.

• Collaborate with clients and lead negotiation efforts.

• Perform testing on SQL databases and web services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong capability to estimate and plan testing needs.

• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and following up on QA team activities.

• Proficient in guiding and mentoring both manual and automation QA teams.

• Able to suggest methodologies and techniques to enhance testing and ensure quality.

• Experienced in organizing team workflows using Kanban boards.

• Background in managing, creating, and maintaining test assets and documentation.

• ISTQB, TMMi, or similar certification (mandatory).

• Certification in one or more of the following: Scrum, SAFe, Management 3.0, Agile, Lean, PMP (or equivalent).

• Basic conversational proficiency in English.

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement within the QA domain.

• Proficient in tools such as Jira, Trello, TestLink, or comparable platforms for test case management and issue tracking.
