Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Moldova.

📋 Description

• Create, revise, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure exceptional coverage.

• Produce and oversee intricate test data via application logic or API requests at various phases of test execution.

• Execute thorough API testing, encompassing data extraction and validation, while fully understanding and evaluating API workflows.

• Detect and troubleshoot issues utilizing application logs as well as system/service logs.

• Establish and uphold comprehensive test documentation, which includes test plans, reports, and strategies.

• Ensure alignment of business requirements with functional specifications while maintaining adequate test coverage throughout.

• Provide detailed and actionable test outcomes, clearly document defects, and track resolutions, which includes verifying fixes and updating bug tracking systems.

• Participate in the enhancement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies to improve overall product quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in software testing, demonstrating a solid history in manual testing.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and a capability to enhance and implement testing strategies.

• Significant experience in web testing, browser debugging, and cross-platform testing.

• Practical knowledge of JavaScript for testing, debugging, and comprehending frontend application workflows.

• Proficient in HTML, XML, JSON, and adept with tools for testing tasks.

• Direct experience with API testing, API workflows, and data validation principles, including a strong proficiency with testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

• Expertise in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Confluence).

• Solid experience in Agile environments, with the ability to adjust to iterative development processes.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex concepts clearly.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams, emphasizing proactive communication and coordination.
