Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with the design and delivery of verification and acceptance across a wide array of technologies and platforms.

• You will play a key role in contributing to the Test Strategy and planning within the organization and its partners.

• You will provide testing support to development teams.

• You will be responsible for producing Test Scripts and User Scenarios.

• You will design and implement modern, scalable test plans utilizing a variety of new and emerging technologies, including automation.

• You will prepare test specifications (both manual and automated) and carry out test execution.

• You will execute integration tests and system tests across all phases and regression cycles.

• You will design and establish test tools, test systems, and test data sets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Electronics, Communications); equivalent qualifications and/or experience may be considered as an alternative.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• A solid understanding of agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery cycles is required.

• Experience in Integration and Systems Testing is necessary.

• Previous experience working as part of a test team on projects with complex requirements is important.

• A good understanding of the principles of acceptance, verification, and validation, along with analytical and testing methodologies, is needed.

• Familiarity with non-functional testing, such as performance, resilience, and security, is required.

• Strong knowledge of test automation, particularly with the Robot Framework and Selenium, and their applications is necessary.

• Experience in working closely with requirements verification matrices is preferred.

• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering would be advantageous.
