Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with software developers, analysts, and functional testers to create and sustain automated testing solutions.

• Craft and implement automated testing strategies across middleware, API, and data integration layers.

• Develop and uphold scalable automation frameworks based on Selenium utilizing Java and TestNG.

• Conduct API automation testing with tools like RestAssured, Karate, ReadyAPI, and SoapUI.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and data validation testing activities.

• Work alongside QA leads, developers, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve issues while enhancing testing efficiency.

• Assist in the automation and testing processes within CI/CD pipelines in Agile and DevSecOps environments.

• Leverage tools such as JIRA, SQL, AWS services, and automation frameworks to bolster testing efforts.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in testing.

• Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary to meet team goals and contribute to the project's success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• At least 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium automation frameworks using Java and TestNG.

• Recent experience in writing, debugging, and maintaining automation scripts based on Java.

• Proficient in API automation testing using RestAssured, Karate, ReadyAPI, or SoapUI.

• Experience in testing middleware, REST APIs, backend services, and applications on AWS.

• Solid understanding of testing practices related to CI/CD, Agile, and DevSecOps.

• Familiarity with SQL/data validation and tools like JIRA and Section 508 testing tools.

• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration abilities.
