Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing guidance to our clients on testing methodologies and strategies in the realm of test automation – encompassing both traditional and agile approaches.

• Executing test automation for graphical user interfaces, web services, and various interfaces.

• Taking charge of the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of automated test frameworks.

• Planning and carrying out automated unit, system, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end (E2E) tests utilizing a range of tools.

• Overseeing test progress and communicating test outcomes.

• Collaborating closely within an international and interdisciplinary project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, relevant vocational training in IT, or a comparable career transition.

• One to two years of professional experience or relevant internships in test automation.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, HP-UFT, Appium, Cucumber, Cypress, JUnit, or SoapUI.

• Experience with software development environments such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, or Maven.

• Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Perl.

• An ISTQB© certification is a plus.

• Proficient command of both German and English.
