Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define the testing strategy and pinpoint quality risks.

• Lead quality enhancement initiatives within the team.

• Create and uphold automated tests that encompass UI, APIs, and integrations.

• Develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.

• Enhance test reliability and broaden coverage.

• Conduct database and data testing utilizing SQL and Databricks.

• Validate ETL processes, data pipelines, and ensure data quality.

• Collaborate with Microsoft Azure environments.

• Utilize Git and engage in code review processes.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Leverage AI tools for test development, analysis, debugging, and improving testing efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven senior or lead-level QA expertise with a strong sense of ownership.

• Capability to define testing strategies, identify quality risks, and implement improvements within the team.

• Extensive experience with Playwright and TypeScript / JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Robot Framework is advantageous.

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining automated tests for UI, APIs, and integrations.

• Background in building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.

• Track record of enhancing test reliability and coverage.

• Experience with databases, SQL, Databricks, and validating ETL processes, data pipelines, and ensuring data quality.

• Experience in working with Microsoft Azure environments.

• Proficient in using Git, conducting code reviews, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Practical experience with AI tools for test creation, analysis, debugging, and enhancing testing efficiency.
