This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Engage in the entire testing lifecycle, including planning, designing, scripting, executing, reviewing, and witnessing tests in a dynamic, agile development setting.
• Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms using industry-standard tools such as Playwright (strongly preferred), Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex, TestComplete, or similar.
• Generate and sustain manual test scripts for functionalities that cannot be automated or are yet to be automated.
• Conduct validation and verification activities to ensure adherence to FDA standards, GxPs, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
• Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing across various platforms.
• Oversee bug tracking, defect reporting, and communication of test progress through test management tools (JIRA preferred).
• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Review the work of junior team members and offer mentorship on testing best practices.
• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders through verbal presentations, written documentation, and progress reports.
• Maintain a strong focus on detail and accuracy, committed to excellence in all deliverables.
• Continuously seek enhancements in testing processes, methodologies, and automation coverage.
• Monitor quality standards, identify root causes of quality issues, and take ownership of their resolution.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, SOPs, behaviors, and ethical standards at all times.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a proven history of addressing complex testing challenges.
• Establish ambitious goals, prioritize tasks effectively, and navigate obstacles to achieve results.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Adapt swiftly to changing priorities and respond positively to transformations.
• Consistently meet commitments, accept accountability, uphold high personal standards, and maintain focus under pressure.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in software quality engineering and validation/software testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright (strongly preferred), Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex, TestComplete, Coded UI, or equivalent.
• Experience in testing web-based and/or mobile applications across multiple platforms.
• 2+ years of experience working with clinical trials and/or in a pharmaceutical/regulated environment (preferred).
• Experience collaborating directly with Software Developers in an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Working knowledge of the drug development process and FDA requirements for GxPs and 21 CFR Part 11 (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
