Test Automation Engineer – ACWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Test Automation Strategy: Craft, implement, and uphold scalable automated testing frameworks using both FitNesse and Tosca Tricentis.

• Script Development & Execution: Create, execute, and troubleshoot intricate automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Toolset Integration:

• Utilize Tosca Tricentis for model-based, script-free test automation across enterprise applications and APIs.

• Employ FitNesse for collaborative, wiki-based acceptance testing, facilitating clear communication of requirements between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Pipeline Orchestration: Seamlessly integrate automated testing toolsets into existing DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

• Defect Management: Identify, document, and monitor software defects. Work directly with software engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure prompt resolution.

• Quality Assurance (QA) Reporting: Produce and present comprehensive test reports, risk assessments, and quality metrics to program managers and mission stakeholders.

• Compliance: Ensure that all automated testing processes adhere to Department of War (DoW) DevSecOps standards and securely handle mission data up to Impact Level 4 (IL4).


⛳️ Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science) or an applicable training certificate from an accredited institution.

• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in software quality assurance, test engineering, and test automation.

• Tosca Tricentis Expertise: Proven experience in model-based testing, API testing, and UI automation using Tricentis Tosca.

• FitNesse Expertise: Strong working knowledge in developing, organizing, and maintaining acceptance test suites utilizing the FitNesse framework.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) to enhance automation frameworks.

• Infrastructure: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern software development lifecycles (SDLC) within Agile methodologies.
