Test Automation Engineer – 100% remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, automate, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end and integration tests for our software products, covering cross-team workflows.

• Analyze, review, and document testing outcomes, collaborating closely with developers to address identified issues prior to final testing by our Quality Management team.

• Identify gaps in current test coverage and prioritize the creation of additional test cases.

• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure that testing aligns with business and product requirements.

• Foster and enhance a culture of quality awareness within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or completed vocational training in IT or a comparable qualification.

• Professional experience in software testing or test automation.

• Strong expertise with at least one of the preferred automation tools (Playwright or Cypress).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation.

• Experience in API and Integration testing.

• A solid understanding of software testing principles (e.g., test design techniques, BDD testing, ISTQB foundation-level knowledge).

• Strong analytical skills, a structured and independent approach to work, and a pronounced quality mindset.

• Ability to quickly grasp existing testing processes and systematically enhance them.

• Team-oriented, reliable, and communicative, demonstrating a high level of commitment and ownership.

• A passion for new technologies and complex challenges.

• Proficiency in English at a full business level, both spoken and written; German is a plus.
