This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Design, develop, and sustain CI/CD test automation pipelines along with Python test suites for pre-commit pull-request evaluations and weekly regression assessments.
β’ Automate the provisioning of environments, traffic generation, network diagnostics, and ongoing regression testing across both virtual and physical testbeds.
β’ Troubleshoot failed executions by examining device, system, and test logs; differentiate between product bugs and issues related to the test suite or environment; and document defects thoroughly.
β’ Collaborate with development teams to comprehend delivered features and devise appropriate test coverage.
β’ Enhance test automation as new Routing-area functionalities are introduced.
β’ Utilize AI-driven root-cause analysis and LLM coding assistants for scripting, log examination, and root-cause identification.
β’ Facilitate issue resolution with suite owners and development/test engineers through established collaboration channels.
β’ Oversee physical and virtual testbed environments and allocate resources for test execution.
β’ Identify, analyze, and rectify flaky tests to ensure pipeline dependability.
β’ Take ownership of weekly regression runs and manage failure triage across extensive CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Proficient Python programming abilities with substantial hands-on experience in pytest, PTF (Packet Test Framework), sonic-mgmt, and Ansible.
β’ Strong foundation in CI/CD engineering and automated test orchestration.
β’ Comprehensive networking knowledge, particularly in routing (BGP, OSPF, routing tables, VRFs, Layer 3 concepts) and experience with SONiC routers.
β’ Familiarity with router concepts such as overlay architecture, policies, and IPsec tunnels.
β’ Proven skills in debugging and troubleshooting, including log reading, CLI-level investigation, and root cause isolation across product, test, and environment layers.
β’ Experience in collaborating closely with software development teams to translate delivered features into test scenarios.
β’ Practical experience using AI tools in daily engineering tasks.
β’ Familiarity with Docker.
β’ Competence in Linux command-line operations, including shell scripting and command-line utilities.
β’ Proficient in English (B2+ level).
β’ Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD platforms.
β’ Nice-to-have: practical experience with Golang, C/C++, or Groovy.
β’ Nice-to-have: experience in SD-WAN.
β’ Nice-to-have: hands-on experience with router solutions.
β’ Nice-to-have: understanding of Jenkins and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Nice-to-have: experience with physical or virtual network testbeds and virtual routers.
