This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• In your role as a Test Architect (Manager) at Kainos, you will be accountable for delivering exceptional quality solutions that not only satisfy our customers but also positively impact users globally.
• Leveraging your extensive experience in testing, you will guide our clients and the broader market towards improved testing and quality practices, collaborating with client stakeholders to establish a testing strategy that meets the demands of rapidly evolving digital services.
• Your responsibilities will include advising Kainos on innovative tools and methodologies, collaborating with colleagues to develop policies and standards, sharing expertise, and mentoring those around you, all within a supportive environment that encourages learning and growth.
• You will oversee, coach, and nurture a select group of staff, concentrating on managing performance and facilitating their professional development.
• As a technical leader within the team, you will engage with customers, share knowledge, and mentor your peers.
• Additionally, you will provide guidance and leadership to your team as you collaboratively tackle complex challenges.
• Proven experience as a versatile agile test practitioner with a deep understanding of the roles and responsibilities of testers throughout an iterative project lifecycle.
• Successfully designed and managed the implementation of a testing strategy for multi-tier modern software applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of whole solution architecture concepts and their implications on testing strategies and end-to-end test plans.
• Ability to prioritize non-functional requirements for clients, with experience integrating these into the end-to-end testing lifecycle.
• Familiarity with testing on public cloud platforms, as well as SaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Capable of making informed decisions regarding testing and quality in a dynamic agile delivery environment.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and coaching team members and the wider community.
• Active involvement in knowledge-sharing initiatives, both within the team and at a broader capability level, as well as externally when appropriate.
• Collaboration is key at Kainos; thus, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, including multi-disciplinary groups, is essential.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, enabling you to convey test design and strategy clearly in discussions, documentation, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
