Test Analyst, Systems 1 – Directed Credit 1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as an enthusiastic mentor and champion for a culture focused on quality and care.

• Employ strategic thinking in software testing, including the implementation of test automation.

• Engage in team ceremonies.

• Prepare and carry out tests.

• Document and report bugs and test cases.

• Generate and review software quality documentation, including test strategies, test plans, and evidence reports.

• Provide updates on project delivery progress, risks, and challenges.

• Continuously promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and transparency.

• Participate in meetings to establish timelines and deliverables.

• Develop and execute both manual and automated test scenarios for web applications and APIs.

• Plan, create, and implement progressive and regression test plans.

• Define and validate test scenarios with each new version release.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to identify opportunities for process improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress, from the 4th semester onward, in Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another IT-related discipline.

• Proficient in both functional and non-functional testing.

• Over 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst.

• Familiarity with test and defect management tools.

• Experience in developing test automation scripts.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe).

• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Experience with relational databases.

• Proficient in creating scripts using database languages (SQL, T-SQL, and/or PL/pgSQL).

• Experience with code control and versioning through Git.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in creating and maintaining test automation scripts is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or IBM Cloud) is a plus.

• Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.

• Possession of software testing certifications, such as CTFL and CTAL, is a plus.

• Knowledge of Docker is a plus.

• Understanding of DevOps and NoOps culture is a plus.

• Familiarity with Jenkins is a plus.

• Basic programming logic and fundamentals is a plus.
