Test Analyst, Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• The professional will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software outputs, employing a critical and analytical approach to validate features prior to their release to end users.

• Strong attention to detail is essential, along with the capability to identify defects, suggest enhancements, and collaborate effectively with agile teams.

• Responsible for the planning and execution of both functional and automated tests.

• Development of test scenarios and test cases grounded in requirements.

• Identification, documentation, and tracking of bugs is required.

• Validation of the deliverables generated by the development team.

• Engagement in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning meetings, reviews, retrospectives).

• Creation and upkeep of automated tests.

• Assistance in defining acceptance and quality criteria.

• Reporting on outcomes and analyzing the quality of the deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in functional and automated testing.

• Proficiency in JavaScript.

• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks such as Cucumber or similar.

• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience in working with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Hands-on experience with Azure tools and services.

• Strong analytical abilities coupled with critical thinking skills.

• Desirable knowledge includes:

• Test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).

• API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).

• Understanding of continuous integration (CI/CD) practices.

• Basic knowledge of performance and load testing concepts.

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.

• A Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in IT, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, or related fields.
