This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Demonstrate proficient appointment setting abilities, achieving the required number of appointments weekly with appropriate decision makers.

• Employ professional selling techniques
• Identify the incremental and programmatic needs of prospects
• Clearly articulates Staples' value propositions, capabilities, products, and assortments across all categories
• Skilled at overcoming objections and successfully closing sales.
• Use designated selling tools to prioritize tasks and enhance efficiency, as well as document customer interactions and information (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
• Internal Collaboration: Work effectively with customer support/setup teams and category specialists to advance deals to closure.
• Implement and accelerate wins while ensuring compliance with new accounts/programs
• Knowledgeable about the prospect industry buying processes and capable of aiding in product selection and standardization
• Establish enduring accounts that will continue to make purchases from Staples
• Incorporate feedback from prospects into the sales strategy
• Manage new customer assortments and pricing
• Internal Collaboration: The individual must communicate and work closely with Category Specialists and Support teams
• Customer Communication: The individual is tasked with daily professional communication with prospects, both in person and face to face.
• Strong drive and a desire to succeed

• Proven capability to view rejection as a learning opportunity and to focus on subsequent actions
• Demonstrated experience and success in business development
• Strong aptitude for delivering presentations both virtually and in-person
• Skills in consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation, and advanced client management
• Ability to collaborate with product category sales team members
• Solid understanding of business, finance, operations, and technology
• Ability to analyze business and industry trends to craft tailored solutions for prospects based on Staples' value proposition
• Capacity to operate independently with minimal daily oversight
• Drive and ambition to identify, develop, and close sales
• Proven work ethic and self-discipline
• Ability to thrive in a competitive sales or goal-oriented environment
• Willingness to be coached and integrate feedback
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• 1-3 years of successful sales experience or proven success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate
• 3+ years of experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
