This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets within the designated region.
• Recognize and address customer requirements, coordinating suitable resources and follow-through initiatives.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of products and disease states for effective engagement with healthcare professionals.
• Promote the company’s inaugural product to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners (APPs), and selected Primary Care Physicians.
• Drive sales outcomes to ensure that sales objectives are achieved or exceeded.
• Communicate clinically relevant messages to introduce a new treatment option while addressing customer concerns.
• Develop an understanding of local market dynamics and opportunities for market access.
• Enhance pull-through by effectively communicating with healthcare professionals and office personnel.
• Create territory business plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
• Work alongside colleagues in marketing, training, sales operations, and the commercial team.
• Share best practices and ensure operational execution.
• Oversee CRM utilization and manage expense reporting.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of two years of successful medical sales experience (e.g., dental, medical device, laboratory, diagnostics) or one year of pharmaceutical sales experience; GI specialty experience is preferred.
• A proven and consistent history of success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage all resources (marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions) effectively.
• Proven business acumen and analytical skills.
• Capable of building professional relationships with office staff and others within the customer network.
• Demonstrated success in both live and virtual engagements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom, etc.
• A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Some overnight travel within the territory may be necessary based on geography.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
• Must adhere to all relevant company and regulatory standards.
