This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee all sales activities within the designated territory, which includes new business initiatives, existing client management, and channel partner relations.
• Drive the acquisition of new business, foster growth in existing accounts, and develop channel partnerships.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue complex video security opportunities that involve multiple stakeholders.
• Build and enhance relationships with end users, systems integrators, distributors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Concentrate on recurring revenue opportunities as well as larger, project-based sales.
• Maintain a steady focus on run-rate and small-to-medium-sized projects.
• Execute vertical objectives assigned by Vertical Sales Managers.
• Provide consistent updates regarding project developments.
• Manage opportunities utilizing approved sales tools, including Blue Sheets.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors and Vertical Sales Managers to ensure territory execution aligns with vertical strategies.
• Travel within the territory to facilitate customer meetings, partner engagement, and seize key opportunities.
• Candidates must live within the assigned territory: Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, El Paso, and Las Vegas.
• Up to 70% travel is required.
• A High School diploma is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technical discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required, ideally with a manufacturer.
• Knowledge of video surveillance and integrated security solutions is essential.
• Understanding of IP networking, cloud-based security platforms, and system architecture is necessary.
• Ability to evaluate customer security needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills are a must.
• Solid understanding of industry and product-specific knowledge.
• Proven ability to successfully generate and close business.
• Industry affiliations and certifications are a plus.
• Indefinite U.S. work authorization is required; future sponsorship is not available.
