This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Meeting sales targets and increasing the sales volume for Hoya Vision Care products
• Bringing on new Eye Care Professional (ECP) accounts
• Enhancing the business of existing ECPs and fostering customer loyalty through the delivery of branded products
• Implementing strategy, conducting account prospecting, and acquiring new business
• Building customer relationships with a consultative sales methodology
• Leveraging corporate tools and applications to devise territory strategies and reach sales goals
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful customer relations
• Overseeing the territory sales budget and identifying new opportunities through account prospecting
• Creating and managing customer pipelines and business plans
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Proven sales achievements with 1 to 3 years of sales experience
• Knowledge and experience in optics are beneficial for grasping the complexities of vision care
• Proficiency in computer and presentation skills (Microsoft Suite)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and have access to a vehicle
• Able to regularly drive for extended periods to cover the territory up to 90% of the time
• Capable of driving for long durations under various conditions and spending extended time seated in the vehicle
• Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) according to Hoya’s MVR policy, as driving is a fundamental job function
• Flexible work hours and occasional out-of-area and overnight travel are anticipated
