This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Accountable for the expansion of agency relationships to enhance the profitability of GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products within a designated area.
• Supervise the formulation and implementation of policies aimed at fostering agency relationships.
• Identify, interview, and authorize new appointments to broaden GEICO’s agency distribution network.
• Manage agents in a specified region through in-person visits, virtual meetings, phone calls, and emails to cultivate relationships, provide training, and oversee agency performance.
• Execute the policies and procedures associated with the agency program.
• Evaluate the performance of agents against established goals, procedures, and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively; assist agencies in crafting local marketing plans and strategies to achieve growth objectives.
• Utilize data analysis to develop pre-call strategies that concentrate on the most significant opportunities within the assigned area and/or particular agency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, features, and tools.
• Provide training for agency staff on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, services, and value propositions.
• Bachelor’s degree or three years of sales or relevant insurance experience (claims experience preferred).
• Previous experience in driving sales outcomes.
• Experience with various lines of insurance is advantageous (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health).
• Adherence to GEICO’s driving standards and/or policy.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodation, including seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
• Capable of communicating in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner over the phone.
• Ability to meet both in person and virtually.
• Competence in following complex instructions, resolving conflicts or facilitating conflict resolution, and demonstrating strong organizational and priority-setting skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to learn and apply extensive technical and procedural information.
