This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Overseeing and expanding the designated territory by implementing strategic sales plans to meet or surpass monthly and quarterly revenue and margin objectives.
• Fostering new customer acquisition while pinpointing unexplored opportunities within existing accounts.
• Enhancing customer relationships through value-driven selling and effective negotiation techniques to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Boosting sales efficiency through disciplined utilization of tools such as sales funnels and SFDC.
• Collaborating with internal teams and distributors to facilitate seamless operations, including payment collections and issue resolution.
• Evaluating market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to refine sales strategies and enhance performance.
• Travel Requirement: This role demands a significant field presence, involving approximately 60–70% travel within the assigned territory (Hubli and the neighboring industrial areas). Travel is usually scheduled ahead of time, with an average of 2–4 nights per week spent in the field, allowing flexibility to organize visits and manage schedules effectively according to business needs.
• Over 8 years of field sales experience in industrial products or capital goods.
• Must be acquainted with the Hubli territory and able to communicate in the local language.
• Demonstrated experience in direct (B2B) field sales within a specified territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or a non-engineering degree accompanied by substantial industrial sales experience).
• Practical experience using CRM tools (e.g., SFDC/Salesforce) and managing sales funnels.
