📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You are actively driving to locations, participating in local cattle auctions, and engaging with regional Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations, all while building your business pipeline through proactive lead generation efforts. You efficiently manage inbound leads and prioritize administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• Field Sales: You are comfortable getting your hands dirty and understand that meaningful discussions about Halter are best held over coffee at a kitchen table, in the saddle, or while riding in a side-by-side on a pasture. You work directly on the ranch with potential customers before discussing the benefits of Halter, even delivering coffee during calving season. You appreciate those special moments that truly impact our customers.

• Expanding Current Opportunities: You are consistently on the lookout for new avenues for growth, including expanding your current customer base with Halter. You see value in nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to enhance value over time. Recognizing that not every rancher will collar all their cows, you view this as a distinctive opportunity to achieve your goals.

• Achieving Sales Targets: High-growth sales targets motivate you; you embrace challenges and aim for ambitious goals. As an expert in managing your pipeline, you confidently disqualify leads that do not meet your criteria. You balance managing current deals while keeping future opportunities in focus.

• Customer Account Management: For you, relationship building extends beyond the initial sale. After closing a deal, you strive to maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address any challenges they encounter with Halter's products. You facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment, helping customers maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in your work and have a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means giving attention to every aspect and ensuring no detail is overlooked. You value being the public face of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various agencies to create lasting connections with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership extends beyond the sale. You ensure that your customers experience the best possible onboarding process. Actively managing the entire customer journey during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s products, you guarantee a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when coordinating with different teams across Halter.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Gathering customer feedback is crucial to you and is an integral part of how you manage your territory. Acting as the primary contact for customer insights, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, proactively seeking partnerships across Halter to quickly resolve any issues that arise for your customers. You escalate problems as necessary and ensure that customers in your territory receive comprehensive support.

• Attending Industry Events: You seize opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You engage in demonstrations and networking to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contributing to the Canadian Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork enhances strength. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and adapt the sales process to better suit the Canadian market. As we grow, your contributions will be pivotal in driving greater efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, thriving in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and proficient in communicating with both customers and internal teams. Proactiveness is your hallmark; you do not hesitate to take action.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You possess a solid understanding of ranching and cattle operations, which equips you to address the unique challenges of the industry. This experience enables you to connect meaningfully with customers about what truly matters.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and building enduring customer relationships. You focus on fostering relationships rather than merely transactional sales, aiming for long-term success and expansion through upsell opportunities.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience managing a substantial territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, preferably within the agriculture or technology sectors.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration Ability: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, excelling in working with cross-functional teams to overcome challenges and drive effective solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are open to frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospective clients.
