This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Lead new business initiatives, effectively onboard new public sector clients, and enhance relationships with existing customers.
• Create and implement strategic account and business plans for designated public sector accounts and new business ventures.
• Act as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams at Fortinet.
• Cultivate robust relationships with client contacts, including Executive C-level, while grasping business priorities, regulatory requirements, and IT drivers.
• Clearly communicate Fortinet’s value proposition through a consultative selling approach customized for public sector needs.
• Strategically coordinate internal resources to optimize sales volume and ensure successful delivery.
• Perform quarterly business reviews to showcase ROI and promote long-term customer success.
• Stay informed about Fortinet’s product roadmap to assist customer planning and mitigate risks.
• Minimum of five years of sales experience with a proven success record in enterprise or public sector sales.
• Experience managing complete sales cycles, including prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Background in cybersecurity or a closely related technology field such as networking, cloud, or SaaS.
• Proven understanding of public sector procurement processes and frameworks.
• A proactive, goal-oriented mindset characterized by resilience and independence.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities, with experience in cross-selling, upselling, and cultivating long-term client relationships.
