This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee a primary care region that spans southern Halifax, extending along the South Shore to Yarmouth and the Annapolis Valley.
• Formulate and implement business plans specific to the territory and tailored sales strategies for customers.
• Meet or surpass sales targets within the designated area.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Provide customized solutions aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Leverage product knowledge, clinical insights, and competitive intelligence during customer interactions.
• Utilize data and insights to guide decisions and enhance territory activities and performance.
• Collaborate effectively with Medical Science Liaisons, marketing teams, and other cross-functional groups.
• Manage territory resources and budget efficiently.
• Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and punctually.
• Adhere to internal compliance and regulatory standards in all activities.
• Report directly to the Senior District Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in life sciences, business, healthcare, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing field sales or territory management within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or similar commercial settings.
• Proven initiative and self-motivation, coupled with a business-owner mindset and the ability to recognize and seize opportunities.
• Capability to work independently in a field-based role while fostering collaboration across teams.
• Experience in utilizing data analysis and business insights to optimize territory performance and guide strategic decisions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in managing a large geographic area and balancing competing priorities.
• Outstanding active listening abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with omnichannel engagement platforms and CRM systems.
• Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and convey scientific research and clinical data is preferred.
• Knowledge of or previous engagement with the Halifax healthcare landscape is preferred.
• Provision of a company-leased vehicle, contingent upon acceptable license verification and driver’s abstract results.
