This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current hospitals, labs, and clients.
• Identify and establish connections with potential customers, converting them to Penumbra solutions.
• Enhance and expand relationships with existing clients to increase their utilization of Penumbra products.
• Ensure the securing and/or renewal of existing orders by coordinating product availability, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
• Keep open lines of communication with current and prospective clients regarding programs, promotions, and pricing trends.
• Boost account penetration by actively marketing both existing and new offerings from Penumbra's product and solution range.
• Build relationships with physicians, lab personnel, lab supervisors, and purchasing staff.
• Be prepared to travel as needed for sales and case support, which may include travel outside the region to assist the team.
• Undertake additional special projects or assignments as requested.
• Stay informed about new products or services offered by Penumbra and provide feedback to the corporate office regarding market receptivity, concerns, or insights gathered from customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive product innovations, sales promotions, catalogs, and advertising to enhance personal sales effectiveness and corporate market intelligence.
• Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and Penumbra events as designated, responsible for lead generation and follow-up, including summary reports for the broader ANZ marketing and management teams.
• Keep accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and required field sales reports, ensuring timely communication of necessary information.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, or a related field, along with 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in medical device sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A creative mindset and a strong passion for innovation.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong degree of accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding organizational abilities with the capability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Skilled in engaging with senior leadership and all levels within the organization.
• Opportunity to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Occasional on-call availability required 24/7.
