This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Drive business expansion and ensure customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.
• Implement sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
• Serve as Halter’s local representative.
• Identify new leads and opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound inquiries, and other channels.
• Oversee the complete sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.
• Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts.
• Maintain strong customer relationships post-sale and address any challenges they encounter.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and product deployment.
• Own the entire customer experience during onboarding and deployment phases.
• Manage relationships with regional agricultural groups within the beef industry.
• Collect customer feedback and relay field insights to Support, Product, and R&D teams.
• Collaborate with Support to resolve customer issues and escalate problems as necessary.
• Proven value-based sales experience with a strong track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and fostering enduring customer relationships.
• Experience in building post-sales value and upselling to enhance partnerships.
• Background in the beef industry or a strong passion for beef operations coupled with a willingness to learn quickly.
• Capacity to apply critical thinking to effectively manage a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success.
• Resourceful and quick-thinking problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory to engage with customers and prospects.
• Must reside anywhere in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia.
