This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Meet sales targets, enhance market presence, and boost profitability.
• Create and adhere to an action plan that aligns with the company's strategic goals to achieve objectives.
• Work closely with team members to ensure effective communication and coordinated actions.
• Engage daily with customers and accounts to showcase and explain the benefits of Merit products.
• Identify prospective clients and introduce them to Merit’s product range.
• Maintain customer relationships to assess satisfaction, address issues, and provide effective solutions.
• Prepare and present pricing proposals and contracts to clients.
• Make pricing decisions within the authorized limits to maximize sales volume and profitability.
• Execute sales and marketing strategies within the designated territory.
• Enter and monitor sales opportunities and customer data in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with other departments to stay updated on new Merit products and provide customer insights on needs and potential innovations.
• Prepare and send reports to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) as required.
• Regularly compile and present activity summaries.
• Participate in sales training and planning meetings to learn about new products and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Merit and competitor products, including their advantages and disadvantages.
• Stay well-informed about the clinical environment and relevant clinical research.
• Represent the company at industry events and promotional activities (e.g., trade shows, workshops).
• Attend various sales meetings.
• Regularly manage consignment stock.
• Travel by car, train, or airplane as necessary to meet with clients.
• Perform additional sales-related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• At least three years of direct sales experience, ideally in the medical device sector.
• Proficiency in both French and English to effectively communicate and understand customer needs in a sales context.
• Strong self-motivation and ambition to reach both personal and professional objectives.
• Outstanding oral presentation skills with the ability to think on one's feet to analyze issues and articulate solutions to medical technicians and clinicians.
• Capability to learn about medical equipment usage and identify potential enhancements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve organizational targets.
• Competence in applying business mathematics to compute percentages and prepare financial and sales reports.
• Strong organizational skills, including accurate recording, reporting, and documentation of work performed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently and work extended hours as necessary to meet objectives.
• Excellent driving record: no accidents in the last three years or no more than one traffic violation during that period.
• Proficiency with computers, especially in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software.
• Multiple shifts and schedules available: Days, Swing (Evening), and Nights.
