This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Develop and spearhead the business strategy for the territory to meet and surpass business objectives.
• Partner with territory collaborators to establish routing strategies and enhance customer engagement processes.
• Take ownership of and manage the patient onboarding process.
• Surpass sales goals and foster market share growth within the designated geographic region.
• Implement field sales initiatives that align with the company's standards and promotional guidelines.
• Provide healthcare providers with insights regarding industry trends, diseases, and product offerings.
• Establish clinical credibility concerning Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
• Develop connections within the diabetes community by participating in local events, fundraisers, and influencer partnerships.
• Present Insulet products and effectively differentiate them from competing offerings.
• Assess issues, identify underlying causes, and devise solutions for provider and patient challenges.
• Facilitate customer onboarding and training in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with healthcare professionals and administrative personnel.
• Work alongside internal team members across various functions.
• Leverage data to inform business decisions and refine territory strategy.
• Direct territory prioritization and resource distribution.
• Maintain territory-related data within systems such as Salesforce.
• Oversee administrative operations while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Associate degree.
• 5+ years of sales experience with a proven record of success in B2B or life sciences sectors.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must reside within the designated geographic area of the territory.
• Frequent business travel, primarily by car, within the assigned geographic region.
• Capability to lift, carry, and transport up to 30 lbs. of professional sales materials and literature.
• Ability to establish, communicate, and implement a territory business strategy.
• Competence in executing sales and marketing plans.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong influencing and collaborative abilities.
• Capacity to build and maintain relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities in a teamwork-oriented environment.
• Skill in resolving complex issues and taking appropriate actions.
• Proficient with technology, including large data systems, insulin pumps, and continuous glucose monitors.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred: Established professional relationships with endocrinologists and diabetes-focused primary care providers.
