This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Ensure consistent territory coverage and support through personal visits and phone communication to drive both unit equipment and Aftermarket sales, including pellet mill rolls & dies and spare parts for the Feed and Biofuel Division of Andritz Inc.
• Act as a liaison between customers and relevant departments to promptly address technical and commercial issues;
• Create and implement tailored customer strategies to acquire new business or enhance existing accounts;
• Assist in the preparation of sales proposals for both Aftermarket and unit equipment sales, ensuring follow-up and closure of pending proposals;
• Produce and maintain call reports along with monthly summaries of all sales activities within the territory;
• Update and manage the CRM database;
• Keep abreast of competitors and their actions within the territory, sharing insights with Sales Manager(s) and other Field Sales colleagues;
• Negotiate sales terms and conditions with customers that align with Andritz's standards;
• Formulate key account strategies to ensure a competitive edge and maximize order intake;
• Track industry developments and competitive trends;
• Collaborate with order execution and engineering teams for the transition of new equipment orders;
• Deliver sales/equipment presentations at industry associations and trade events;
• Cultivate and enhance business relationships essential for the success of ongoing projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Ag or Feed Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the Feed Mill or other Grain markets.
• A strong desire to continuously learn and improve;
• Ability to think logically and methodically to apply problem-solving techniques;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with other office software and databases;
• Excellent command of the English language and grammar;
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform well under pressure in time-sensitive situations;
• Effective communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written;
• Represent the company's interests when interacting with customers;
• Possess strong organizational and problem-solving abilities;
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
• Self-motivated, capable of making independent decisions, maintaining a high degree of accuracy, and operating with minimal supervision;
• Quick to learn and retain various skills and tasks;
• Be attentive to customer satisfaction, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency in addressing customers' needs;
• Must be adaptable, flexible, and cooperative while working with all levels and departments within and outside the company;
• Capable of managing a large volume of information for several managers, as well as handling all types of internal and external communications;
• Able to thrive in a frequently high-stress environment with competing priorities.
