This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Drive sales revenue to surpass set quotas and qualify for the annual sales competition.
• Identify and cultivate sustainable new business opportunities that align with company objectives.
• Conduct clinical assessments, lead discussions on round-table results, and assist in the implementation of new product programs.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key accounts and BD Clinical Managers.
• Perform product demonstrations, provide customer education, conduct in-services, and carry out utilization and contract-compliance reviews, along with procedural observations.
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual plans aimed at achieving revenue goals.
• Keep up-to-date clinical knowledge in relevant disease states while demonstrating excellence in territory management and sales skills.
• Deliver sales training sessions for both inside and field sales staff, as well as channel partners when requested.
• Facilitate sales modules, workshops, and training programs during new-hire orientations and sales meetings.
• Manage territory expenses within budget constraints and adhere to Bard guidelines and policies.
• Maintain communication with sales teams, customer service, sales management, and home-office personnel.
• Ensure compliance with quality policies, patient safety requirements, and documented procedures.
• Complete call reports, monthly results reports, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Sustain accurate customer and account records.
• Attend and represent BD at local, regional, and national medical conferences.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
• BS/BS degree required.
• A minimum of three years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong customer focus, professionalism, negotiation, mentoring, and team-building capabilities.
• Strong listening skills and the ability for personal assessment.
• Capacity to adapt swiftly to a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in information gathering, analysis, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
• Basic math skills, including rates, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation.
• Proficient in using personal computers, with intermediate keyboarding skills, and familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and BD sales information systems.
• Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, and governmental documents.
• Capability to present information effectively and engage with healthcare professionals, executives, managers, clients, and customers.
• Proficient in solving practical problems and interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions.
• Ability to sit, bend, stoop, use a keyboard, and possess visual, auditory, and verbal communication skills.
• May occasionally lift weights ranging from 10 to 25 lbs.
• Frequent travel within the designated territory is required.
