This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Influence and support both high and low-prescribing CGM physicians, diabetes education nurses, other healthcare professionals, office and hospital administrative staff, as well as durable medical equipment providers to encourage the prescription of Dexcom products to their patients.
• Educate healthcare professionals on the use of Dexcom products and assist in their integration into practice.
• Represent Dexcom at local, regional, and national trade shows and diabetes exhibitions to promote Dexcom products to a wide diabetes community.
• Provide educational support regarding Dexcom products to pharmacies within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with market access, trade, government affairs, district and territory sales teams, and other departments to drive sales growth in the territory.
• Enhance Dexcom’s market share and achieve or surpass district and territory sales targets and KPIs in alignment with company objectives.
• Execute Dexcom strategies and track progress towards achieving sales goals using Dexcom analytical tools.
• Accountable for meeting assigned territory sales objectives.
• Complete all required administrative tasks promptly as directed by management.
• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree along with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in medical and pharmaceutical sales with a proven sales success record is preferred.
• Consideration will be given to applicants with non-medical and pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Knowledge of diabetes as a disease state is advantageous.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a satisfactory driving record as per company policy.
• Must be willing to maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and evening work.
