This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Discover and capitalize on new opportunities by selling Informatics Solutions to the Life Sciences sector.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape within the Life Science industries.
• Identify emerging and mid-market accounts within your territory that would gain from our solutions.
• Demonstrate a HUNTER skill set – encompassing account planning, prospecting, lead qualification, and the development of new business.
• Recognize critical business opportunities and challenges faced by your accounts in relation to our solutions.
• Identify key decision-makers and cultivate robust relationships within your client network.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations that effectively communicate the business and economic advantages of our solutions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Oversee the software sales cycle from the identification of opportunities to the finalization of contracts.
• Negotiate intricate software and service agreements.
• Generate precise sales forecasts and maintain sales cycle reporting.
• Capable of preparing, organizing, and directing presales and consulting resources.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling enterprise software to enterprise accounts.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales to both business users and IT professionals.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• General knowledge of the Life Science Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Background or experience in a scientific discipline is beneficial.
• Familiarity with business intelligence or analytics is desired but not essential.
• Proven success in business development and the capability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to present solutions with a focus on business benefits.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Previous training in sales methodologies with strong customer references.
• Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
