This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create a sales pipeline for Mid-Market accounts by qualifying opportunities and accurately forecasting potential sales.

• Meet established quarterly sales objectives.

• Oversee the sales process until closure, focusing on maximizing renewal rates and identifying cross-sell opportunities within the territory. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

• Regularly engage with customers to comprehend their business challenges, priorities, and drivers, ensuring Sophos solutions align with their desired outcomes.

• Collaborate with the Channel Sales team and partner network to generate pipeline through indirect interactions.

• Work alongside sales engineering and channel partners throughout the sales cycle to ensure high customer satisfaction and significant adoption of Sophos technology.

• Business acumen: Ability to recognize opportunities that provide the highest and most competitive returns for Sophos.

• Results-oriented: Approaches tasks with urgency and persistence, not easily deterred by resistance or setbacks.

• Interpersonal skills: Easily engages with others, utilizing effective questioning and active listening to gather pertinent information.

• Outcome-focused mindset: Concentrates on understanding desired outcomes and demonstrating value for Sophos, partners, and customers.

• Proven sales experience, with confidence in interactions with customers and partners.

• Background in meeting sales targets/KPIs within the IT/Cybersecurity sector.
