This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, optimize sales performance, effectively manage the designated territory and targeted accounts, and foster strong customer relationships while addressing customer needs to enhance both short-term and long-term sales outcomes, ensuring that patient-centric approaches are prioritized and adhering to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all relevant laws and regulations.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, marketing targets, and other goals to meet or surpass expectations.
• Develop a pre-call plan utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continually enhance sales effectiveness.
• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while consistently driving logical and reasonable calls to action to successfully close each sales call.
• Actively and consistently strive to meet customer needs, manage expectations, and overcome challenges to cultivate trusted customer relationships and secure mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and its customers.
• Design and implement a call plan that fulfills established call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency with key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Continuously enhance understanding of customer needs and expectations, the territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease state, product information, clinical knowledge, and sales expertise, sharing this market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment, anticipate environmental shifts and challenges, and refine brand strategy and execution.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers and identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
• Compliance with any governmental and/or legal certification requirements as mandated by the respective country's laws and/or regulations (if applicable).
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven track record of success in sales and exceptional presentation abilities.
• Demonstrates extensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and proficient in the use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Proactively identifies customer styles/behaviors and quickly adapts all aspects of the selling approach accordingly.
• Understands and utilizes findings to formulate effective sales strategies.
• Proposes innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges.
• Provides impactful ideas for the broader organization and anticipates and responds effectively to changes.
• Operates efficiently within a matrix environment.
• Leads by example; consistently exhibits positive behaviors and peer coaching through changing and challenging environments.
• Documented success in leadership and support roles with increased responsibility at the district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
