This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Monitor and assess tender notifications to pinpoint opportunities that align with Merit Medical’s product offerings.
• Prepare and submit persuasive, compliant tender proposals through web platforms or email.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to establish pricing strategies and guarantee timely, precise submissions.
• Maintain awarded tenders within our Oracle system while ensuring full adherence to contractual obligations.
• Keep e-catalogs and product classifications current and accurate.
• Analyze contract awards and performance metrics, including price modifications and usage trends.
• Work closely with Regulatory, Legal, and HR departments to ensure complete and compliant submissions.
• Proactively notify Sales of upcoming tender renewals to facilitate timely customer engagement.
• Contribute to various projects aimed at improving and streamlining our internal processes.
• Provide support with additional tasks and assist colleagues across regions as necessary.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in tender or contract management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database tools.
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with tender portals and/or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
• Experience working in a cross-functional and/or international setting.
• Background in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, public procurement).
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
